Halloween costume

This year's theme was "not spending money on a Halloween costume." When I visited my parents this summer, I helped my mom organize her contribution to the church yard sale. She was planning to donate an old set of butterfly wings that my sister had worn as a child, but I immediately saw the potential and claimed them. Then I attached wire and two "Dots" gum drops to an old headband, and my costume was complete:
The wings are a little small, since they were originally for children (but I was still bumping into people and objects all night). Overall, I was pleased. Especially since it was free!
