Yom Kippur

I woke up this morning and felt happy when I remembered that it's Yom Kippur -- which makes me feel a bit guilty because Yom Kippur is a day of atonement and fasting for my Jewish friends. But since the professor I'm TA-ing for is Jewish, and I am not, the religious holiday means that class is canceled -- and I am free to spend the whole day working on my dissertation prospectus.
