Field trips

Last night, I was telling my friend about an article I read about internet addiction. I said, "Some of those people sounded like me, but I know I'm not addicted to the internet because I don't miss my e-mail when I go out. I enjoy field trips."

Friend: "Did you just refer to time away from the internet as field trips? This isn't a field trip, this is real life!"

Right, that's what I meant...
